Waterstones kills Kindle: Why the ereader flopped and paper is making a comeback www.ibtimes.co.uk/waterstones-kills-kindle-why-ereader-flopped-paper-making-comeback-1523100 The sale of Kindles (and Nooks) is plummeting due to long term ownership of them. Ipads and ireaders get updated releases every year and are doing a little better. I'm guessing other people eread off their androids, which are getting to be pretty cheap compared to the others and only needs an app to simulate a Kindle or Nook. People go into bookstores to buy books, not tech items. They tend to prefer paper books over ebooks.
